Julez arrived on the New York City makeup scene over seven years ago, and quickly developed a reputation for empowering women to experiment and have fun with makeup by teaching them how to enhance their natural beauty and individual characteristics.

Her true talent for makeup wasn't discovered until she began working for Nars Cosmetics whereby she was trained and certified by Top Makeup Artists in the industry. It was there that her passion became a profession and her obsession with the world of fashion and beauty began. Shortly after hire, Julez found herself as a Certified Lead Makeup Artist for Nars Cosmetics working in the Big Apple where trends begin but never end.

Taking her abilities onward, she applied and was graciously hired as a Certified MAC Lead Makeup Artist. Working for MAC has allowed Julez to become inspired by what is going on in the streets of New York and by high fashion. She enjoys seeing subculture find their way into mainstream fashion and beauty. She learned that the Art of Makeup is as individual as you are; therefore, she has fun and becomes fearless.

Julez continued to build her young makeup career at an astonishing rate and with great success. From MAC she moved onto Shemura Cosmetics and Shiseido Cosmetics where she learned to have an open mind and let the creativity flow.

Julez is a freelance make-up artist with various cosmetic & skincare lines. She loves to focus on great natural looking, well-groomed beauty; flawless skin, perfect brows and fluffy lashes.

She is a consummate professional whose attention to detail has enabled her to touch many faces while building a strong clientele base among this highly competitive industry. She has become known to her peers for revolutionizing the beauty industry, inclusive of superb makeup application and skin care, by demonstrating absolute creative professionalism.

Makeup by Julez was created in response to the growing demand for a personal and professional makeup service on location - "we come to you." Offering an array of services geared toward the application, organization and education of cosmetics and skin care, we become your guide to beauty.

Julez multi-dimensional mindset has allowed her to work with most of the major cosmetic and skin care lines as well as high end Boutiques and Department stores throughout the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area.

Although fluent with many wonderful and creative brands, Julez prefers to work with the exciting and innovative cosmetics line called Motives by Loren Ridinger. This line combines a perfect blend of art, science and technology to create an incredible selection of customizable color combinations to suit everyone, regardless of age or skin tone.
